Apex Wind Energy Acquires Development Assets from Energy of Utah

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, April 19, 2013 – Apex Wind Energy has acquired three projects from Energy of Utah, L.L.C. These assets have the potential to support over 600 MW of capacity in Utah and Arizona.

“We look forward to working with Energy of Utah to complete the development of these projects,” said Apex President Mark Goodwin. “Building on the strong foundation they have created, we are ready to take these projects to completion.”

Apex Wind Energy Completes 300 MW Canadian Hills Wind Facility

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, January 21, 2013 – Apex Wind Energy, Inc. (“Apex”) has announced the completion of the development and construction of the approximately 300 MW Canadian Hills Wind project (the “Project”). The Project, which is located just outside of Oklahoma City, OK, began commercial operation on December 22, 2012. Canadian Hills is the largest single-phase wind farm to be developed and constructed in Oklahoma, increasing the state’s installed wind capacity by 13%. Apex maintains a minority ownership interest in the Project.

Apex Begins Construction of 300 MW Canadian Hills Wind

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, May 23, 2012 – Apex Wind Energy, Inc. (“Apex”) recently began construction of the approximately 300 MW Canadian Hills Wind project (the “Project”), which is located just outside of Oklahoma City, OK. The Project is expected to begin commercial operation late this year. Upon completion, Canadian Hills will be the largest wind farm in Oklahoma, increasing the state’s installed wind capacity by 15%.
