Apex Clean Energy Acquires Second Illinois Asset from American Wind Energy Management

Charlottesville, VA – August 9, 2016 – Apex Clean Energy has acquired a second project from American Wind Energy Management Corp (AWEM), Sangamon Wind One in western Sangamon County, Illinois. The project has the potential to support 130 MW of wind energy.

“We’re pleased to be working with AWEM to bring another high-quality project to completion,” said Mark Goodwin, president of Apex. “With Sugar Creek before it, Sangamon Wind promises to strengthen Apex’s presence in central Illinois.”

Sangamon Wind is now known as Lincoln Land Wind.
